Jazz in Vannes is a Jazz music festival annually held in Brittany, in the town of Vannes, during the summer. Created in 1980 by Jean-Philippe Breton, Vannes Jazz is a musical event which will celebrate its 32nd edition in 2011. This jazz festival is marked by a programming day with a group of artists represented in the streets of the city, as well as evening concerts. The concerts are spread over several sites in the open-air Garden Limur Hall, the Auditorium of the Carmelites, the Esplanade of the port and the streets of the intramural Vannes.
Musicales du Golfe - August - Classical music festival
Piano duet, piano recitals, quartets and string trios, trumpet accompanied by stringed instruments, wind quintet, illuminate the musical summers the Country of Vannes with dream interpreters. The Musical and the Gulf have had the pleasure to welcome the winners of the 2010 Victoires de la musique classic 2006 and 2009, Bertrand and Romain Leleu Chamayou, without forgeting Moraguès Quintet.
