The Gulf of Morbihan

#

From the sea, or from one of its shores, the Gulf of Morbihan will never cease to amaze you with its changing and unusual landscapes, depending on the tide and the vagaries of time.
Thousands of hectares of rocks, beaches, seagrass beds, salt marshes are home to almost 150 000 waterbirds: stilts, egrets, mergansers exclusive, gulls, etc ...
An inland sea dotted with islands and peninsulas, the Gulf combines, inimitably, land and sea. Whether it is the tip of Kerpenhir at the entrance to the Gulf in Locmariaquer, or Penhap on Ile aux Moines or the river Vincin in Vannes, there are a wide variety of landscapes and environments.
The great number of megalithic monuments testifies to ancient human presence. A number of species of migrating birds finds refuge here, and this is why the former salt marshes of Sene are now classified a nature reserve.
